Stash is a flashcard and spaced repetition app. We collect only the information needed to run accounts, sync decks, and provide app features.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address, password credentials, and basic account metadata. When you use the app, we store decks, cards, review history, deck settings, generated media references, and chat or generation content you choose to create.

How We Use Information

We use this information to authenticate your account, sync your study material, calculate review scheduling, provide deck chat and card generation features, send account emails, and keep the service reliable.

AI Features

If you use AI-assisted chat or generation features, the content you submit may be sent to model providers so the requested feature can run. Do not submit sensitive personal information you do not want processed for that purpose.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with infrastructure and service providers that help us operate Stash, such as hosting, email delivery, storage, and AI generation providers.

Retention

We keep account and study data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.

Security

We use standard security practices for authentication, transport encryption, and hosted infrastructure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
